Release date for MOUSE: P.I For Hire announced with a new trailer
During the Galaxies Autumn 2025 event, the release date for the cartoon first-person shooter game MOUSE: P.I For Hire was announced.
MOUSE: P.I For Hire will be released on March 19, 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The game is developed by Fumi Games and published by Playside Studios.
In this title, Troy Baker stars as Jack Pepper, the game’s main character. The story takes place in the old, dark city of Mouseburg, and according to the developers, players must uncover a complex web of conspiracies and expose corruption, kidnapping, and murder.
MOUSE: P.I. For Hire, with its detailed and classic design and unique music, has features that attract attention. In terms of atmosphere and design, this title is interestingly reminiscent of the acclaimed Cuphead, with the difference that its atmosphere will be darker. One of the most interesting features of the game is how cartoon inspirations are used in Jack Pepper’s specially designed weapons.
Players in MOUSE: P.I. For Hire can use a diverse set of weapons, including over a dozen different options, across 20 stages. The game will also include unlockable movement abilities and a Metroidvania-inspired traversal system, features that add a new dimension to the gameplay of this title.
