According to Insider Gaming, despite ARC Raiders being released more than 10 days ago, the game continues to perform beyond expectations and is on an upward trend on some platforms. Hours ago, this post-apocalyptic extraction shooter managed to set a new record on Steam, surpassing its previous record of 416,517 concurrent players, which we reported yesterday on Zoomg, by reaching a peak of 462,488 concurrent players.
This continuous increase in player count is a sign of the game’s high quality. Embark Studios’ creation continues to attract players worldwide, with millions joining this accessible and well-crafted experience.
ARC Raiders is not a typical extraction shooter. This game is played from a third-person perspective and has strong social aspects, to the extent that in many sections, it can be considered a PvE (Player versus Environment) game. Since its release on October 30th, the game has climbed the charts at an impressive rate and shows no signs of stopping.
