Battlefield 6 is among the most successful PC games.
Mat Piscatella, a game industry analyst at Circana, praised Battlefield 6’s performance, noting that it is one of EA’s most successful premium PC games in history. In his remarks about the game’s release, he emphasized that a large part of its success is due to the PC user community, which has shown a high level of engagement since its launch.
Piscatella said in this regard:
“We are not announcing sales figures yet, but in terms of engagement, the game’s performance on PC has been very impressive. In terms of user numbers, this title has performed exceptionally well and is among the best premium ($70) PC games. The console version of Battlefield 6 has also performed acceptably, ranking among the top 15 or 10 best-selling games in the United States. But the most significant reception has been from the PC version, where the Battlefield franchise has always had its loyal community.”
These remarks were released after EA officially announced that Battlefield 6 was the biggest launch in the franchise’s history. The company stated that the game sold over seven million copies in its first three days, setting new records for sales and player activity. In the first weekend alone, players engaged in over 172 million matches, recorded 15 million hours of streamed content, and helped the title achieve the highest number of concurrent players in the franchise’s history.
