Initial information updated in the Microsoft Store has revealed the Xbox release date for Silent Hill 2 Remake.
Although this listing appears to have been removed from the Microsoft Store, according to a report by the True Achievements website, Silent Hill 2 Remake is set to be released on November 21, 2025 (Friday, November 20, 2025) for Xbox Series X/S.
Fans have long been awaiting an official announcement for the Xbox version of this game. Rumors about this have been circulating for a long time, and on October 31, the game received an age rating from the ESRB for release on the Xbox platform.
The Microsoft Store update mentioned that the game has been optimized for both Series X and Series S consoles and will also be available on PCs via the Microsoft Store, in addition to consoles. However, there was no mention of Play Anywhere support for this version.

Silent Hill 2 Remake was released for PlayStation 5 and PC in October last year and was a console exclusive for Sony for one year, with this exclusive period ending last month. The title ultimately received an average score of 86 from Metacritic.
In addition to the Xbox version, there are also rumors about the release of the Silent Hill 2 Remake for Nintendo Switch 2. It is not yet clear whether this version will be released simultaneously with the Xbox release, but it seems that players who do not have access to PC or PS5 will soon be able to experience this remake developed by Bloober Team.
Neither Konami nor Bloober Team has officially confirmed this news yet.
