Will SpongeBob SquarePants cartoon characters come to Fortnite?
Based on new reports and leaked information from reliable leakers, it seems the world of Fortnite will soon host one of the most popular cartoon characters of all time, SpongeBob SquarePants.
Well-known leakers in the gaming community, including HYPEX and SamLeakss, have reported that this major collaboration is set to be added to Fortnite simultaneously with the start of Season 7 on November 27.
The most important leaked evidence is an image file of the character Plankton, which appears to be designed as a “Wheel” item for the game’s racing section, Rocket Racing. There are also reports of a vehicle related to this collaboration being added, which strengthens speculations about the event’s focus on the Rocket Racing mode.
It is currently unclear whether players can expect a SpongeBob character skin for use in Battle Royale mode, or if this collaboration will be limited to cosmetic items and content for the car racing section.
