A new easy mode was added to Battlefield 6; a simpler battle with 32 bots.
EA added a new mode called Casual Breakthrough to the main multiplayer section of Battlefield 6 with a new update. This new mode is designed to provide an easier and less stressful mode for new players.
The main feature of this mode is the strong presence of AI (bots) in matches. In each match, teams will consist of 8 real players and 16 bot soldiers, meaning a total of 32 bots will be present in each game, and players will compete alongside them.
This new mode allows players to level up, complete various challenges, and earn the necessary XP for weapons and battle passes in an easier environment. On the other hand, newcomers can also improve their skills for fighting professional gamers through practice.
However, to prevent abuse and this mode from becoming a place for XP farming, EA has implemented a mechanism: earning points against bot enemies (such as killing them) will be about 50% less than against real players.
Currently, this mode is only available on two maps, Siege of Cairo and Empire State, but DICE has announced that it is closely monitoring player feedback to implement more changes in the future if needed.
The release of this mode has been met with mixed reactions from fans. While some old fans believe that such a mode should not exist outside the Portal section, many others have defended this addition and brought up the “if you don’t like it, don’t play it” logic. It remains to be seen whether a similar mode will also be added to the battle royale section of Battlefield 6.
