Yone Guide League of Legends
Hello today we are going to talk about Yone builds and play style
About Yone

Yone is a Fighter champion released in 2020 and scales with AD and Attack speed
Pros:
- Yone is a skill based champion and his abilities are skillshots which means more skill you have more damage you do
- Yone has huge power spike on every item including boots which makes farming more valuable
- incredible late game carry if played right
- High mobility and decent shield for early game trades or farming
- Great Crown control in team fights
- Deals both physical and magic damage so the enemy has to buy both armor and magic resistance
Cons:
- Yone can’t handle early game bullies especially on toplane so early game must be played safe
- High damage but only defence is his decent shield pretty much a squishy
- Really hard to get back to game if you are behind
How to play Yone (Abilities)
Q: Mortal Steel
Thrusts forward, damaging all enemies in a line
on hit, grants a stack of gathering storm for a few seconds. at 2 stacks Mortal steel dashes Yone forward with a gust of wind knocking enemies airborne.

W: Spirit Cleave
Cleaves forward, damaging all enemies in a cone. Grants a shield to Yone, the value is increased by the number of champions hit by the swipe
Spirit Cleave’s cooldown and cast time scales with attack speed

E: Soul Unbound
Yone’s spirit leaves his body behind, gaining move speed.
when this ability ends, Yone’s spirit is forced back to his body and he repeats a portion of the damage he dealt as a spirit

R: Fate Sealed
Yone blinks behind the last champion in a line with a slash so powerful it pulls all enemies hit toward him

P: Way Of The Hunter
Yone deals magic damage with every second attack. in addition, his critical strike chance is increased.

How to play Yone (Toplane and Midlane)
Toplane:
since Toplane mostly has fighters, Yone must play safe until a power spike, just farm XP and last hit IF possible
Item builds for Toplane are Berserker’s Greaves>Blade of the ruined king>Mortal Reminder/Yun Tal Wilnarrows/Immortal Shieldbow based on situation>Infinity Edge>Death’s Dance or Wit’s End (notice that you need at least two of the three situational items above
Runes:
Lethal Tempo with Absorb Life, Legend: Alacrity and Last Stand
secondary runes are Resolve with Second Wind or Bone Plating and Overgrowth
take attack speed, adaptive force and health scaling

In Midlane Yone can play for trades and risk but limiting it is better, look for roaming after hitting level 6 since your R is a great ability to start a fight
if you opponent is a fighter champion you can use the Toplane item build
if your opponent is a mage or squishy champion you can build:
Berserker’s Greaves>Kraken Slayer>Yun Tal Wilnarrows>Infinity Edge>Wit’s End>Mortal Reminder or Terminus
use the same Runes as Toplane
