Operators, in addition to their class functions, also have unique abilities. But in Battlefield 6, you can only change their skin. Which of these two classification methods is more appealing depends on the audience’s taste. Battlefield takes a more realistic approach to war, while Delta Force operators show interesting but fictional powers.
Regarding multiplayer modes, Battlefield currently includes various options, though most fans play Conquest and Breakthrough. These two focus on large battlefields with heavy armored equipment and many simultaneous players. You must strive to capture or defend different points on vast maps. Similar modes are also found in Delta Force, depicting chaotic war scenes.
A significant part of Battlefield 6 is the Portal section, where people can create and share all kinds of competitive or even single-player scenarios and maps with the various tools available to them. On the other hand, Delta Force offers a PvPvE section called Operations. This section is built on the Extraction style, which will be attractive to fans of this genre.
Story Mode Comparison
The Delta Force story mode is essentially a remake of the old Black Hawk Down version, which itself was based on a movie of the same name. The structure of the remade version is also like a classic first-person title. This means there aren’t many cinematic and exciting cutscenes in the middle of missions. You probably know that modern shooter titles are designed so that the gamer doesn’t get bored as much as possible. But Delta Force is completely ruthless and doesn’t even have an in-mission save feature.
You must conserve bullets and plan every step. The Delta Force story mode, which narrates the American forces’ attack on Somalia, is so difficult that it can almost only be completed in co-op multiplayer. On the other hand, Battlefield 6 is a completely modern and cliché title where characters’ health automatically regenerates. The excessive difficulty and old gameplay of Delta Force can be frustrating for modern gamers, but for older players, it’s a kind of nostalgia. Meanwhile, Battlefield 6 missions are somewhat similar to the Call of Duty series, which also has many fans. Both games have their specific audience, and it cannot be said which one is superior in terms of story.
Graphics and Technical Aspects
The technical and artistic level of a work and how much it can immerse the audience might not be important in some works. But when it comes to simulating battlefields, these issues become doubly important. Without a doubt, Battlefield 6 is a cut above the competition in this regard. This work was developed with EA’s proprietary engine, which incidentally performs better for the first-person shooter genre.
Perhaps in Battlefield, one can find graphical bugs like the sun being too bright, but when you step onto the battlefield and see the stunning details of 3D models and the effects of explosions and environmental destruction, you will definitely be mesmerized. On the other side of the story, Delta Force is built with two different base engines. The multiplayer section is developed with the Unreal Engine 4 base engine, and the separate story section is developed with the fifth version of this software. Therefore, the two games are visually different from each other. The story mode has better graphics technically and is completely realistic artistically. But both of these sections have little to say against Battlefield’s engaging atmosphere.
Especially since Battlefield 6 has implemented more extensive details in terms of physics and environmental interaction. The final point is that the multiplayer section of Delta Force includes strange skins, sensitivity to which has increased recently. This is an issue that is currently absent in Battlefield 6, and soldiers and weapons have a greater resemblance to the real world.
Which one is better after all?
